About Me

Hey There!
This is Kayleigh. I'm a 20-something girl living in Massachusetts, trying to learn to navigate this adult world, while still holding on tight to my Peter Pan syndrome.
This is how you can always find me. Drink in hand. Having a blast. Making my own fun.
Proof that I've been living the dream since birth.(And impeccable fashion sense)
I've been with my husband Big A since 2007. You can read all about us under the "Our Wedding" tab at the top of the page.
Here we are, practically babies.(Our first picture together)
Four crazy years later we were engaged. I know...took long enough! Haha. I kid. I kid. I wouldn't change us for the world!
Aww... so happy! Still crying...
In January 2012, I decided enough was enough. I wasn't happy with the large and in charge lifestyle I was living and made a change. With the help of a lot of support from friends, family, and most definitely the blog community, I was able to lose 25 pounds by the time our wedding rolled around.
Finally feeling comfortable in my own skin again.
On September 8th, 2012 I married my best friend. One of the easiest and hands down best decisions I have ever made in my life.
Three short months later, we bought our house! We could not be more madly in love with our little piece of real estate and are looking forward to MANY MANY years of happiness and memories there.
We also have our ever so fabulous dog, Mr. Fresh. By far the smartest and sneakiest Border Collie I've ever met, but he definitely has our hearts.
How can you stay mad at that face?
For now, we are just enjoying our life as newlyweds. One of us is attempting to take off some of the weight that she gained after the wedding and finally reach her goals. (I don't want to call anyone out. Haha) Just looking to make a lifestyle change to be happier and healthier.
I started blogging in 2010 as a way to keep track with family that was all over the US (and the world really) and it has slowly grown into a place where I can truly express myself. I've made lots of friends over the past few years and definitely had some amazing people come into my life.
And that's about it for me. Have a question, just feel free to ask!

  1. I found your blog from the Ramblings of a Suburban Mom link up, and I just had to comment how much you as an adult look like what I assume is your mom in the first photo here. Look forward to reading more of your blog.
